WHO WE ARE

Encompassing the virtues of the mythological goddesses of Beauty, Charm and Joy, Three Graces Design utilizes creativity and passion to provide you with custom, hand-made invitations and announcements. Through our personal attention and professional design services, you will receive a unique piece that captures the emotions of your event or special occasion.

How We Began
While working together at a not-for-profit agency in 2003, Heidi Ruehle-May and Leslie Lopez formed a close friendship that eventually grew into a business partnership. With a shared passion for the creative and interest in “being our own bosses” we embarked on the process of starting our own business. Initially, we began designing invitations and announcements for friends and family. Their enthusiastic response to our work and word-of-mouth referrals encouraged us to pursue Three Graces Design as our full-time employment.

Our Experience
Heidi has a BS in Interior Design and Art and a minor in Art History. She has over 10 years of experience in the combined fields of interior design, social services and special event planning.

Leslie has a BA in Communications and minors in Psychology and Sociology. She has over 10 years of experience in public relations, marketing, special events and fundraising.

Our Strengths
With Heidi’s design background, she begins the creative process coordinating beautiful papers and embellishments into the arrangement of the piece. Leslie utilizes her communications experience by creatively arranging the text. Together, we critique each other’s work, firming up the complete design and sharing the detailed responsibility of producing the handmade pieces.
